Congress languages
The official languages of the congress are English and French.
We can estimate that probably a little less than half of the participants will be French-speaking and a large half not-French-speaking persons. Thus, there will be a significant effort on communication, information and bilingual indication English/French systematically, and when it is possible in other languages and in particular Spanish, Italian and German. |

Les langues officielles du congrès sont l’anglais et le français.

Il y aura ainsi un effort important à faire sur la communication, l’information et la signalisation bilingue en anglais/français systématiquement, et lorsque c’est possible dans d’autres langues, notamment en espagnol, italien et allemand. |

Reception of articles...
The way for knowing the list of events and for submitting your papers and abstracts
is explained on various media :
- The 1st circular (2nd page - left colomn), is published in several languages on : vercors2008.eu/presentation.htm#circulars. - Bilingual (EN-FR) information is also available on FSUE Forum : http://fsue.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=189. Presentations will take place either in English a priori, or in French. We will see if a translation English/French is possible at the budget level, or possibly by hiring helmets at cost price. Until mid-October 2007, we have received abstracts about the following topics :
Please, send your papers and abstracts to :
articles.vercors2008@ffspeleo.fr by using pattern: "example-EN". A group of volunteers will take care of the reception of the articles,
of the contacts with the authors and the drafting of Proceedings.
Proceedings will be published as a CD-Rom and and as a paper book. Proceedings must be ready for the congress in order to be able to be given them to the participants, even if it means to have a small post-congress volume for the articles which could not be published in the first volume. |

Pour voir la liste des différentes sessions et la procédure

Les présentations auront lieu a priori soit en anglais, soit en français. On verra si une traduction anglais/français est possible au niveau budgétaire, ou éventuellement avec location de casques à prix coûtant. Jusqu'à mi octobre 2007, nous avons reçu des résumés de présentations sur les thèmes suivants:
Envoyez vos présentations et résumés à :
articles.vercors2008@ffspeleo.fr. en utilisant le modèle : "exemple-FR". Un groupe de volontaires se chargera de la réception des articles, de la relance des auteurs
et de la rédaction des Actes.
Les actes seront publiés sous forme de CD-Rom et sous forme papier. Les Actes doivent être prêts pour le congrès afin de pouvoir les remettre aux participants, quitte à sortir un petit volume post-congrès pour les articles qui n’auraient pas pu se trouver dans le premier volume. |

Reception of films...
The responsability of supervising the selection, receiving and projecting films is given to
the Film Festival group.
In addition to films contributing to the Festival, it is forseen to present other films out of contest, and in particular films returning within the framework of the historical retrospective 1888-2008: 120 years of European Speleology. One will also present films which marked, by their quality, the caving meetings through Europe during these last decades. As far as possible, films will be presented in English or French, with subtitling in other languages. Réception des films...
C’est le groupe du Festival du Film qui se chargera de superviser la sélection, la réception,
et la projection des films. En plus des films concourant au Festival du Film Speleo, il est prévu de présenter d’autres films hors concours, et notamment des films rentrant dans le cadre de la rétrospective historique 1888-2008 : 120 ans de Spéléologie Européenne. On présentera également des films qui ont marqué, par leur qualité, les rassemblements spéléo à travers l’Europe ces dernières décennies. Dans la mesure du possible, les films seront présentés en anglais ou français, avec sous-titrage dans l’autre langue.
